The Port Vila Golf and Country Club was founded in 1983 by the then President of the Republic of Vanuatu, Ati George Sokomanu. Situated on the beautiful Mele Bay, some 10 kilometres west of town, the Port Vila Golf and Country Club has become a very important part of life in these islands.

The
course design has incorporated the existing palm trees and Mele Bay as natural hazards. The Par-4 ninth hole (the 9th green shown here) runs along the water and can cause problems for anyone who hooks their ball off the tee.
Built in two stages over 10 years, the course now boasts 18 challenging holes set over close to
6,000 metres. Framed by tropical foliage, dotted with strategically placed bunkers and small greens, the course tests the skills of all that play it. Talk to anyone who has played the course and they will tell you the PVGCC provides challenging golf amidst the idyllic tropical setting expected on a Pacific Island Paradise.

After golf, the clubhouse offers all the facilities you expect and you can relax on the wide balcony overlooking Mele Bay enjoying a world famous Tusker or two.
Don't take our word, come and enjoy it for yourself!
